Angie grew up participating in club gymnastics at the Palatine Park District and then competed for Palatine High School. She has coached all recreational levels at Palatine Park District since she was a senior in high school. Through her years at these programs, Angie has had great memories and lasting friendships. She likes to coach gymnastics to teach the sport, but also because her experience was a significant part of her life, as she knows it is for many Viking gymnasts.
Angie received her Bachelor of Social Work from Ball State University and has a Masters of Arts in Gerontology from Concordia University. Angie enjoys working with children at all levels as each one presents a new challenge. She can see gymnasts develop their skills and confidence to succeed in gymnastics which will then carry over to other aspects of their lives.
