Girl’s Classes

Viking Gymnastics girls’ recreational classes are for ages 6 and above. Your daughter will be grouped by her individual ability level. The student to instructor ratio is kept small in the beginner and intermediate classes – usually 6 to 8 gymnasts per coach, allowing every child to get the most individualized instruction possible.

Gymnasts begin in the Purple level class where they learn the techniques and fundamental skills that are used for all four Olympic apparatus: the Vault, the Uneven Bars, the Balance Beam, and the Floor Exercise. Level advancement is based on on-going evaluation. Our levels in order are:

Purple, Silver, Gold, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3

Dress code for girls is a leotard and fitted shorts. Hair must be tied up out of the face.
