Sara began her dance training in Claremont, California at the age of four, where she quickly learned of her curiosity for all things movement. She continued her training at the Village Dance Arts under the tutelage of Toni Carrion and Denise Donovan. There, she studied the Royal Academy of Dance ballet curriculum as well as other genres of dance. Sara holds a BFA in Dance Performance and a Minor in Anthropology from University of California, Irvine, where she has performed works by choreographers including Lar Lubovitch, Jose Limon, Eugene Loring, Robyn Mineko Williams, and Alejandro Cerrudo.
